While I greatly enjoy exploring all the good things that Chicago has to offer, I understand that not everyone may feel that way. In fact, some might want to avoid the freezing temps of Winter and remain indoors as much as possible. If visiting a hotel as self-sufficient as possible is your priority then you should consider the Westin Chicago River North.
From my perspective its greatest attribute is its proximity to, and view of, the Chicago River. Dependent upon your room’s location, you may be treated to terrific views that can be enjoyed no matter the hour. We found ourselves enjoying our view during countless conversations both day and night.
In addition to offering great proximity to the Chicago River and the House of Blues, this property also boasts a full service restaurant, 24/7 fitness center, on-site business center, and on-site men’s hair salon.
If you have access to their Executive Club I would highly recommend utilizing it as the views from the 25th floor are outstanding and their comfortable lounge, breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and coffee/tea/snacks stations are all great additional amenities.
