A recent remote control airplane mishap inspired this visit to The Landings. 😳
Located at the McClellan Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, it provides a nice selection of indoor/outdoor dining with a pretty decent sight line of the planes taking off and landing. Although the primary draw for our Review Team was the atmosphere, we had to admit that the food served was also good. @carlsbadlandings will be directly in front of you as you come through the main airport entrance, but be sure to park to the left of the restaurant. There is plenty of free parking on that side that will help you avoid a parking ticket or the towing of your vehicle. It is not uncommon for outdoor live entertainment to be offered on weekend evenings, so be sure to check on that in advance.
