Historic hotels and live music. I love them both and it is such a treat when I can enjoy them together!
The Strater Hotel (which was built in 1887) and “The Blue Moon Ramblers” (who began performing at some point after then 😉) made a great combo during our visit to Durango, Colorado.
If you’re ever passing through they deserve some of your time so why not enjoy both and sit for a spell? Sure you can order food and drinks off their full menu, but this experience is mostly about the music, ambience, and history.
Our visit came on a hot Summer’s day, but not to worry because the air conditioning was the perfect compliment.
