Starbucks Reserve Roastery

“No friendship is an accident.”

O. Henry

While I can’t claim to have written, or even uttered these words, they seem fitting for this review.

You see less than 2 weeks ago we discovered a Starbucks Reserve during our visit to Seattle, Washington. It was following that post that someone whom we’ve never met, but are “friends” with on social media, alerted us to the fact that Chicago, Illinois, was one of the other 5 cities worldwide that have a Starbucks Reserve location. Therefore, if it weren’t for @viajandoesvida we may never have visited this location during our trip to Chicago just 10 days later!

Both locations are unique unto themselves and this one boasts 5 floors 🤯 (including a roof terrace that overlooks Michigan Avenue).

Any of the floors that offer a rotunda window seat provide wonderful views of the falling snow (if that happens to be part of your visit).

We found the food options to be just as robust as the Seattle location and my “Starbucks Reserve Peppermint Mocha” was as satisfying as I imagined it would be.

Now that we’ve visited 2 of these exceedingly rare locations over the course of just a few days, we’re establishing a Go Fund Me page so that we can afford to visit the remaining Starbucks Reserve locations in New York, Milan, Shanghai, and Tokyo. 😉

And that’s…Henry’s Take.
