SoFi Stadium, Part 2
A tremendous thank you to @marcjhernandez for generously providing our seats to the Seattle Seahawks v. Los Angeles Rams game!
If you at least partially judge how much you enjoy a football stadium by how loud it can get during a game, then SoFi may just be for you. Even though it is essentially open on both its North and South ends, that escape of volume does little to subtract from the decibels that can be generated here. Sure the crowd does its part to lift the transparent roof off its foundation, but I think significant credit also needs to go to the speakers they have attached to their overhead, and double sided, oval scoreboard. I can’t recall ever seeing as many speakers in any other stadium and no matter where we traveled the sound was incredibly consistent throughout.
If the stadium itself was impressive, we had to admit that the food was as well. We visited the “Sawtelle Blvd.” section and really enjoyed our “Sawtelle Dog” (felt like they crowned that dog with a full salad) and our “Korean Chicken Loaded Tots” (warning: don’t attempt diving into them without a fork).
Apparently, despite today’s out of control inflation, $5.5 Billion can still buy you a great house.
(“Whose house is it? RAMS HOUSE!” 😉)
And that’s…Henry’s Take.
