There’s no way to visit New York without visiting one of the “Original Ray’s Pizza.” There’s like 50 of these “original” locations, so finding one wherever you may travel won’t be hard to do.
This one certainly didn’t disappoint. At nearly 10:00 on a Sunday night the line was out the door and my calzone was exactly what I was hoping for: greasy, cheesy, filled with pepperoni, and the crust was unbelievably fresh. The servers were a little edgy and no matter your order number the update was always the same, “It’s not ready.”
Having said that, I can’t wait to come back!
