For this game we chose to visit Board & Brew for sandwiches. While you may have heard of this place if you’ve visited San Diego, finding it at Petco Park can be a little tricky. Our best advice? Find your way to Section 109 and take the escalator straight up to B & B because it will literally take you to their entrance!
Once you get there you may want to be aware of a few things.
First: Their items are made to order.
Second: You’ll likely find a line. We arrived an hour before the 1st pitch…and we’ll leave it up to your imagination when it comes to what we found. (Hence point 1.)
Third: Service tends to be slow (hence points 1 and 2). Don’t come here if you’re a little late and still have hopes of catching the 1st pitch.
Fourth: While there is a large indoor dining area, getting a seat can be an issue (ditto all former “hences”).
We found both the “San Diegan” and the “Chicken Club” (especially when adding their “secret sauce”) to be quite good!
While we primarily celebrate the food quality reviewed in this post, we also celebrate our 10th post in this series (a 1st for any series that we’ve done thus far) and the San Diego Padres clinching a 2022 playoff berth!
