The San Diego Police Department is reporting that a collision occurred in downtown between a delivery truck filled with “Easy Rainbow Sherbet” and another truck filled with the Padres uniforms just prior to this evening’s game (not true). The only injuries involved vision related issues and nausea reported by hundreds of fans seated at field level. Team spokespersons reported that a vibrant discussion ensued in the dugout surrounding the question of, “Do these colors make my butt look big?” Apparently no consensus was reached by the players made available for comment.
In other news, fans across the country responded with great enthusiasm to the announcement by NBC that it would be reviving the 80’s hit show “Miami Vice”, although apparently now it will be set entirely within the San Diego region (not true).
