So what do you do if you have a sweet tooth and your search for Vegan gourmet cookies has left you with an empty cavity deep inside your heart? Well if it’s 2015 and you’re Maya Madsen, you trail blaze a path to develop and refine your own recipes, of course!
The cookies we sampled were crispy on the outside, chewy and soft on the inside, and packed with flavor! You’ve had that before you say? Well was the cookie you’re thinking of produced with plant-based ingredients? If not, then we’re talking apples and oranges here (or is that celery and radishes? I’m new to the Vegan experience, so you’ll have to forgive my lack of knowledge regarding the nomenclature. I’m clearly not Vegan fluent yet.). Whatever your views on this subject, you gotta give it up for Maya’s commitment to use “no eggs, no dairy, and no animal products…ever!”
I hope that Maya would view this as a compliment, but her cookies are so good that had I not already known they were Vegan I would have had no reason to guess that. 🤤
