Some say that “timing is everything” and if that’s true then ours was lousy today. We had heard good things about the brunch here and were hoping to experience it for ourselves. Although we arrived at the perfect time of day, we were saddened to learn that brunch is only served here on the weekends. 🤦♂️
Fortunately all was not lost as we discovered that the elegant charm of LULU is on display throughout the day or night.
While I have little doubt that their brunch is noteworthy, I could easily envision this place also being a great dinner destination. Honestly the music and decor give it a 1960’s Vegas nightclub feel and I kept glancing at the booths convinced that I would eventually discover one or more of the “Rat Pack” holding court there.
If you choose to try LULU for dinner I’d recommend an 8:00 reservation and be sure to select your outfit carefully. Unless I’ve misread the vibe here, this is a place where you should expect to be noticed. 👀
Oh, yeah. Almost forgot. The food was good.
And that’s…Henry’s Take.
