If you were following our 1st installment in this series then you’ll recall that we began the season with the All Star Game. In reality, being selected to participate in the All Star Game only means something if the selection process is exclusive. In other words, not everyone can get that honor. Now does that make their efforts meaningless? Hardly. At Henry’s Take we don’t hand out participation trophies. Participation ribbons? Well, if we had an actual budget, then yeah. Probably.
And so it is with “Los Tacos.” Did they do well? Yep, sure did. All Star Game invite? Not this season.
Their rolled tacos paired nicely with both salsas that they offered us. The fish, pollo, and carnitas tacos all attended the event well dressed and needed no accompaniment while strolling down the red carpet.
Is this a destination taco location? Not in our estimation. However, if you find yourself in Encinitas they are certainly worth a visit.
