The Whispers
When Cathie was assembling the scrapbook that would eventually become the basis for this series, neither one of us knew the changes in life that would soon become reality.
The gift card she included for the month of October was probably meant to help me purchase more ties for work. Little did she know that when it would become time to cash in that particular gift card that I’d be trying my hand at an unexpected retirement.
While the manner in which that transition into retirement was shocking, good is emerging out from under the ruble of evil, and sprouts of new life are bursting through the soil towards the light above. 🙏
Although no ties were purchased together on this occasion, some socks for one of my retirement hobbies (tennis) were secured.
As an added bonus, our beloved Cathie made a little decoration that will be sure to help warm my home this Fall season.
