The “Hoosier Pass” Trail is located about 15 minutes South of Breckenridge, Colorado right off of Highway 9. There is ample parking and the numerous trails in this area are clearly marked. Our hike was quite peaceful until the “cool kids” from school showed up and reminded us of our inferior social status.
This loop trail is just under 3 miles and took our Review Team approximately 90 minutes to complete. Speaking of our Review Team, this is the first one to include a canine member named “Jasper.” We asked her what she thought of the hike, the rain, and the hail, and her response was, “Ruff!” We consulted the Urban Dictionary regarding her commentary (not true) and were informed that her message was “ruffly” translated as, “Dude, that hike was rad! Please tell me that I also get a burger tonight!”
