For reasons unbeknownst to me Flagstaff, Arizona continues to be denied the travel love that it deserves.
A terrific base camp for a day’s visit to the Grand Canyon, its “downtown” offers leisurely and quaint shopping opportunities and several restaurants worthy of your exploration. We’d recommend Tourist Home Cafe (@tourist_home) for breakfast and Grimaldi’s (@grimaldispizzeria) for NY style thin crust pizza.
If you have the time we’d also recommend a live show at the Orpheum Theater (@orpheumflag). If you happen to be in the area on July 22nd please be warned that apparently a “Robot Apocalypse” has been scheduled. 😳😬
