So where my college peeps at? For those of you who lived in a dorm, remember how great it was to have someone else prepare you 3 squares a day? Well, do you also remember how sweet it was to “cheat” and scrape together enough loose change (and likely at least a little lint 😉) so that you could splurge on a pizza somewhere near campus? Well @crustpizzeriacarlsbad brings me right back to that point in my life. Their pizza offers a splendid combo of fresh ingredients and grease. Yes, grease. Some of you know exactly what I’m talking about. The addition of pepperoni on a pizza requires a minimum amount of grease in order for it to be deemed legit. But don’t worry, it’s the kind of grease that’s good for you. Just like having “good cholesterol”, or when something is “awful good”, or when you experience a “deafening silence.” Tip to the wise: don’t leave this place without experiencing some road rash. Relax people, “Road Rash” is a dessert option here who’s DNA allegedly traces its roots back to the famed marriage of a churro and a beignet (not true). Now if I could just manage to payoff my student loans. 🤦♂️
