While tacos are so tasty they usually can stand on their own, sometimes they need a little support.
That was certainly the case at “City Tacos.” The “Pollo Asado”, “Carnitas”, and “SDCA (San Diego Carne Asada)” tacos all seemed a little lonely and incomplete. Thankfully their BFF salsa hit them up and suggested they chillax together.
The “Creamy Cilantro Aioli”, “Tomatillo”, and “Creamy Chipotle Aioli” nicely addressed the slight flavor deficiencies of each taco (although the texture and crunch of the pork rind was a nice addition).
There is an interesting assortment of tacos offered here, but we were a little disappointed by the dryness of the chicken and the flour tortillas not being warm.
