Formulas. Where might we be without them? And yet, hold on a sec. Are all formulas trustworthy and accurate? Hmmm. Perhaps deeper thought is required.
Take for example, our trustworthy and accurate “Trail Series.” Can a mere formula quantify it? We think not!
We decided to push the boundaries of Physics today and propose the hypothesis of “companionship + environment = joy.” And you know what? The “scientific theory” has been confirmed!
Yep, we know what you’re thinking. This post belongs within this series?
Yes, it does at least when we do the Math (highly questionable. Be sure to “check our work”).
“The Cave Store” (established 1902) features several of the “five theories of Physics” (not true) including “Are you stinking kidding me?!?!?!?”
While it is true that you can “descend a prohibition-era smugglers tunnel into Jim’s Sea Cave”, what you might not know is that it was naturally formed (fact). Your descent (and hopefully ascent) will take approximately 30-60 minutes and involve 145 wooden stairs (hence the inclusion in the “Trail Series” 😉).
The tunnel was reportedly dug by 2 workers using only picks and shovels (🤯), the ceilings are low, and the descent/ascent is fairly steep (read: mobility issue visitors discouraged).
For both of our followers (😉) please exercise caution if you choose to visit! Most of the steps and handrails are wet and slippery. The cost is manageable ($10 per person) and parking is exorbitant (as much as $35) or a hike from this location.
However, the experience is unexpected, dramatic, and worthy of your time.
And that’s…Henry’s Take.
