Fore•shad•ow•ing: an insight into what is yet to come.
How many times have you watched a movie, were surprised by a turn of events, and then upon reflection after the movie realized that the plot twist that caught you off guard was clearly foreshadowed in a prior scene?
While I’m pretty sure that my application of this concept is “questionable” at best, I’m hoping that you’ll at least hear me out on this.
You can check my Math, but here’s the way I’ve got this worked out on my sheet of graph paper: if you purchase a celebratory drink as a precursor to something worth celebrating, then something good has gotta come your way. Seems logical, right?
Well this month Cathie’s scrapbook lead us to BevMo! so we’ve decided to test this hypothesis.
It is important to note that all of our preliminary research models indicate successful outcomes related to this theory are restricted to the involvement of Prosecco, champagne, or sparkling wine. If your experimentation produces a differing data set please forward to me the specifics of your research for review by our panel of experts.
For now, our bottle of Prosecco lies in wait for its opportunity to christen our celebration.
