I’ve heard it said that life is a journey. I mean, how could it not be, right? Good days, bad days. Sometimes they seem to just all blend together. Sadly, that can mean that over time we lose sight of the fact that even during unpleasant moments (or even seasons), we’re still living…and isn’t being alive a privilege and something meant to be cherished? While I feel that I’ve been blessed in many ways, I find myself all too often only visiting the emotional state of gratefulness when really I should always live with that mindset.
Based in San Diego, California, Henry’s Take is an attempt on my part to turn the page in some small, but measurable way. As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to understand just how much I love to travel and how much I cherish spending time with people who are special to me. It will be through the lens of travel, and the company of great people, that I seek to share with you a collection of moments that are a celebration of being alive and present.
